After a very quite January 2020,Madrugada Lodge had a extremely busy February.
The highlight of the month was a large holistic group of twelve ladies who did a retreat over the first weekend in February.

December 2019 was busiest festive season on record for Madrugada and most other hotels and Lodges in the Bvumba area.
Visitors came as far afield as Netherlands,Germany and the South Africa stayed at the Lodge however most guest were from Harare ,who waned a break from the hectic city lifestyle.

By the beginning of December Madrugada Lodge was already nearly fully booked up for the Christmas Festive.

The Vumba mountains like most of Zimbabwe received record high temperatures in the last week of October 2019.
However this did not deter participants in the Annual Vumba Marathon which took place on Saturday 26th October.
Most hotels and Lodges were fully booked for the Marathon weekend..
The beginning of September brought some early rains to keep the forests green and moist followed by warmer days and nights.
Visitors from mainly Harare in the first week of September kept the Lodge busy at the end of school holidays as were most hotels and cottages in the Vumba area.

The August long weekend brought a hive of activity in the Bvumba area with holiday makers poaring in,mainly from Harare to have a relaxing few days away from the hectic city lifestyle.
Madrugada like most Hotels,Lodges and cottages was fully booked till Tuesday 12th August.
Visitors were taken on forest walks plus trips to the mystical Chinamata waterfall not far from the Lodge.
