December 2016 has been a record high for visitors, mainly people from Harare who wanted to get away to the mountains to enjoy family Christmas celebrations.

Visitors over the festive season at Madrugada were taken to the Chinamata waterfall.
The third week in December brought heavy rains to Madrugada and most of the Bvumba – over 30 millimetres fell.
Rainy weather comes to the Bvumba
Madrugada wishes all its customers a Happy Christmas and a Prosperous 2017.
After three months of very little rain (December to February) the threatening drought season came to an end with phenomenal heavy rains in March spilling over into April. There was a continuous period of three weeks where it rained every evening.

The mystical Madrugada forest has been restored to its lushness and magical beauty.
The Easter period saw a hive of activity in the Bvumba area and Madrugada was fully booked for the whole holiday period.
Guests were taken on a tour of four of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Madrugada area plus a visit to the beautiful Bvumba Botanical Gardens.

The weekend after Easter was a hive of activity in the Bvumba with Leopard Rock being fully booked out by an Embassy group.
Madrugada hosted a yoga session at the Hotel and all participants had a great time.
